MOSCOW, November 19 (RAPSI) - Member of the Civic Chamber Commission on Development of Information Community, Mass Media, and Mass Communications Yekaterina Mizulina states it is necessary to capture punishment for public cyberbullying against minors in law.

Amendments are to be added to Russia’s Criminal Code, she said during a roundtable conference on bullying on Thursday.

The civic member also proposed administrative liability for abasement of children’s dignity on the Internet.

According to Mizulina, every second Russian teenager is affected by destructive social media content (45%) and 72% of minors aged from 11 to 16 faced online bullying.
