MOSCOW, January 15 (RAPSI) – A criminal case has been opened over delivery of nearly 10 million previously used one-off medical gloves, RAPSI has been told in the press service of the Moscow Prosecutor’s Office.

Prosecutors earlier conducted a check and revealed that a commercial organization and a foreign company had concluded a contract reading that the latter legal entity was to deliver the individual protective gears. Later, it was found that the supplied goods did not meet the stated quality and there was ample evidence that they had been previously used, the statement reads.

The case is launched over attempted violation of health and hygiene rules. Distribution of the used gloves could trigger mass decease of citizens.
