Cybersecurity company head placed in Moscow detention on treason allegations
MOSCOW, September 29 (RAPSI) – Moscow’s Lefortovsky District Court has ordered the founder of the cybersecurity company Group-IB Ilya Sachkov to be detained on suspicion of treason, the court’s press service has told RAPSI.
The court held the businessman is to be held in detention until November 27.
Group-IB is a cybersecurity company. Sachkov took part in the expert committees of Russia’s State Duma, Foreign Ministry and other bodies. Sberbank, Tinkoff Bank, Baring Vostok, Roscosmos, Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
