MOSCOW, April 18 (RAPSI) – The State Duma lawmakers adopted in the third and final reading on Thursday amendments protecting children from harmful information in cinemas.

According to the document, minors would be prevented from attending cinema showings containing information banned for them. In cases of doubt cinema cashiers would have a right to check a child’s document to identify the age before selling tickets.

The same system would be applied during sales, lending or delivery of books and other information products in libraries.

Amendments are proposed to the laws On Protection of Children from Information Harmful to Their Health and Development and On Library Services.
