MOSCOW, August 30 - RAPSI. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has fined the heads of the customs offices at Moscows Vnukovo and Sheremetyevo airports 53,000 rubles ($1,846) for violating tender procedures, the Moscow Interregional Transport Prosecutors Office reported today.

According to antimonopoly watchdog, prosecutors discovered that the customs offices violated the law on government orders on goods supplies, work performance and rendering services.

The interim head of the Vnukovo customs office broke tender documentation law by making bidders submit bank information, as well as information about company founders and chief accountants. Meanwhile, the head of the Sheremetyevo customs office failed to enter into a service contract within seven days.

Antimonopoly watchdog refused to comment on the matter.
