MOSCOW, October 19 - RAPSI. A single real estate tax might be imposed in many Russian regions in 2013, Deputy Finance Minister Secretary Sergei Shatalov told journalists.

While speaking about the budget in June, President Dmitry Medvedev ordered to impose a single real estate tax in regions where the cadastral appraisal of real estate has been completed so that to charge the tax by 2012. The Finance Ministry said later the tax might be imposed in 4-6 regions in 2013.

Earlier, Federal Registration Service head Sergei Vasilyev said the service might submit to the tax authorities real estate appraisal information on 12 pilot regions by the end of 2011, so as to impose the tax in 2012. Meanwhile, the Finance Ministry said previously that it will be impossible to impose the tax in 2012 even in several regions.
