MOSCOW, March 19 - RAPSI. The government will consider the amendments to the tax code meant to decrease excise duty for gasoline in the light of global oil prices rise, the Federal Antimonopoly Service's deputy head, Anatoly Golomolzyn, told.

The government is expected to consider the amendments within next two months.

Golomolzyn also said that the Finance Ministry endorsed the bill.

The authorities expect to adjust excise duty for gasoline once a month just as the oil and oil product export duties depending on the global oil price.

The move is believed to stabilize gasoline prices inside the country amid global oil price growth.
