MOSCOW, July 3 (RAPSI) - The government has proposed a bill to the State Duma which will allows court bailiffs to arrest funds and property of law breakers immediately after an administrative fine court ruling, Izvestia reports today.

At the moment, the Administrative Code stipulates that the fine must be paid within 30 days of the court order. If the debtor fails to carry out the order and regulations of other related authorities and officials, in particular, the rulings of customs officers, tax officials, the Pension Fund, the immigration service, and avoids paying road police fines, court bailiffs may be involved.

Izvestia reports that the government proposes cutting the payment deadline to one day. The bill states that the fines imposed on foreign nationals will have to be paid within one day of the court order.

"Currently, if the fine is not paid, force can only be used to make debtors pay 30 days after the court order was issued. However, foreign nationals are usually deported from Russia before this period has expired," the explanatory note to the bill says.

According to the records of the Federal Service of Court Bailiffs, as many as 17,608 deportation orders for foreign nationals and stateless persons were issued in 2012 for immigrants from the CIS (Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan) and further abroad (Nigeria, Madagascar, China, Vietnam, Pakistan).
