MOSCOW, May 20 (RAPSI) - The Federation Council, Russia's upper house of parliament, approved a bill lifting restrictions on members of the government who are required to report their personal heavy expenses, RIA Novosti reported on Wednesday.

Members of the government are required to report heavy expenses when they exceed the accumulated income of their family members over three years, according to the law signed by President Vladimir Putin in December 2012.

The bill lifts restrictions set by the law and requires members of the government to report any heavy expenses.

Moreover, members of the government are obliged to transfer their securities into trust management according to the bill.
