MOSCOW, November 22 (RAPSI) – Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a federal law “On ratification of Agreement between Russian Federation and People’s Republic of China on cooperation in fighting terrorism, separatism and extremism”, the president’s press-service announced on Tuesday.

The legislation was adopted by the State Duma on November 11 and by the Federation Council on November 16.

This law ratifies agreement between Russia and China, which was signed on September 27, 2010.

In particular, the agreement introduces exchange of information regarding prevention and fighting terrorism, separatism and extremism, holding regular meetings and consultations, cooperation in border regions of two countries as well as a number of other measures.
