Bill on obligatory evacuation in face of emergency reaches State Duma
MOSCOW, March 1 (RAPSI) – The Government has submitted a bill obliging citizens to abandon territories where there is an emergency danger to the lower house of parliament, according to a statement on the State Duma website.
People must also evacuate from a hazardous area after the evacuation efforts information sourcing, an explanatory note to the document reads.
Moreover, the draft law defines the federal executive bodies’ duty to provide the Emergency Ministry with non-reimbursable access to information systems in order ensure timely disaster response.
Amendments are proposed to the Law Concerning the Protection of the Population and Areas Against Natural and Man-Made Emergencies.
