MOSCOW, October 26 - RAPSI. The antimonopoly service will consider cases against the TNK-BP and Bashneft oil companies for allegedly maintaining artificially high prices for gasoline in March, Federal Antimonopoly Service deputy head Anatoly Golomolzin said at a news conference on Wednesday.

"The service will hear the cases on November 22 and 24. It will consider Bashneft's case on November 22 and TNK-BP's case on November 24," he said.

The antimonopoly watchdog opened cases against TNK-BP and Bashneft early in October. It said the oil producers maintained artificially high prices for gasoline from March.
Meanwhile, according to the Platts energy agency, premium gasoline prices decreased in May worldwide. Meanwhile, refineries owned by TNK-BP and Bashneft sold products at a price "significantly exceeding international prices."
