MINSK, March 21 - RAPSI. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has stated that the investigation into last year's terror act in the Minsk metro was transparent.

"This was an absolutely transparent process from the beginning to the end. The employees of the Russian Security Service, Israeli Mossad and Interpol, who took part in all of the stages of the investigation, had no questions or doubts," he said in an interview with the Russia Today TV channel.

A terror act shook the Oktyabrskaya metro station on April 11, killing 15 people and injuring 300 more. Within 24 hours, law enforcement officers had identified and detained the terrorists.

On Sunday, the Belarusian All-National Television Channel reported that Belarusian citizens Dmitry Konovalov and Vladislav Kovalyov had been executed for terrorism and organizing the blast. The death penalties incited a public uproar in the west.
