YEKATERINBURG, August 13 - RAPSI. The prosecutor's office will investigate the crash of a Kamov Ka-32 helicopter in Turkey, Urals Transport Prosecutor Pavel Kukushkin told journalists on Monday.

The helicopter hit a mountainous slope before crashing into a valley during a firefighting mission, killing all five people on board. The crew consisted of three Russian and two Turkish citizens. The helicopter belonged to the Nefteyugansk Air Group.

It was earlier reported that a Turkish commission and the Interstate Aviation Commission would investigate the crash.

The investigative authorities are holding a preinvestigative inspection as well. They are checking the crew's flight preparation procedures, the aircraft's technical state, and the surrounding circumstances.A procedural decision will be made following the examination.
