MOSCOW, November 22 - RAPSI. The only color recording of the investigation into the murder of 35th U.S. President John Kennedy has been found in a Texas couple's kitchen cupboard, KTAB News reports.

Jan and Bobby Lemons moved to Dallas in 1964. When walking along the street where Kennedy had been killed several months before, they caught sight of FBI agents recreating the assassination. Bobby Lemons got out his video and started to film. The event did not strike them as particularly significant and shortly after they forgot all about the video tape.

The footage lay collecting dust at the Lemons family's Texas home for 49 years, until an acquaintance, school principle Mark Merrell, told them of one of his pupil's project on Kennedy's assassination. Only after their conversation with Merrell, did the couple remember about the video and fully realize its value.

The video was handed over to the Sixth Floor museum in Dallas, which is in the same building from where Lee Harvey Oswald shot John Kennedy on November 22, 1963.
