MOSCOW, January 30 - RAPSI. The drug police have arrested a Catholic priest from Colombia at Sheremetyevo Airport in Moscow who attempted to smuggle 13 packages of cocaine into the country in his stomach, the Federal Drug Control Service reported on Wednesday.

The police became suspicious because of his "sickly appearance and nervous behavior," according to the watchdog.

The priest was detained and delivered to a Moscow hospital where they found 13 packages of cocaine in his stomach. Five more packages were found in his baggage.

The Colombian citizen, who has been identified as Fabio Ricardo Rodriguez, a priest in the Holy Catholic Church-Western Rite in Bogota, was trying to smuggle 780 grams of cocaine into Russia, according to the Federal Customs Service.

"He said the Colombian mafia forced him to smuggle the drugs," the service said.
