VILNIUS, July 29 (RAPSI) - Signatures collection supporting disclosure of information from the archives of the Committee for State Security (KGB) has begun on the Manabalss.lv web site, Latvian media reported on Monday.

Initially, it is necessary to collect 100 signatures. Then the lawyers of the site will analyze the initiative. 37 people have already put their names to the idea.

Public representatives do not know the names of people connected with the KGB, who had any impact on their lives. This initiative will give an opportunity to the society to learn about the people of position who have been linked with the Committee for State Security, the author of the initiative Annika Dzerve said.
