MOSCOW, December 3 (RAPSI) - While meeting with law students Tuesday, President Vladimir Putin endorsed the idea of establishing liability for statements that discredit the territorial integrity of Russia.

He noted that the Constitution guarantees that the state shall ensure the territorial integrity of the country, therefore, any remarks dealing with the rejection by certain territories of the Russian Federation are unconstitutional.

Earlier, the leader of Russia's Communist Party Gennady Zyuganov proposed the criminalization of this violation, Putin added.
