RIGA, August 12 (RAPSI) – Russian photo journalist Andrei Stenin was arrested by the Ukrainian security services on suspicion of cooperating with terrorists, Anton Herashchenko, an adviser to Ukraine's interior minister, said Tuesday in an interview with Radio Baltkom.

Herashchenko said he has no information on Stenin’s whereabouts.

Photo correspondent of the International Information Agency Rossiya Segodnya Andrei Stenin worked in Lugansk snd Donetsk, which claimed independence from Ukraine, and other eastern Ukrainian cities. He went missing on August 5.

The Russian Investigative Committee has opened a case on the kidnapping of Stenin.
