YEKATERINBURG, August 21 (RAPSI) – Consumer safety officials from Rospotrebnadzor in the Sverdlovsk region have ordered that Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey and Jim Beam American Whiskey Bourbon produced in the United States should be removed from sale by Friday,  RIA Novosti reported Thursday.

The regional consumer protection agency said that that packaging of the alcoholic products didn’t meet the required standards.

Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey wasn’t verified as compliant with the Standard Sanitary Regulations, according to the agency.

Moreover, problems were allegedly uncovered with the contents of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Honey Liqueur as chemical substances were detected which are not common to whiskey.
