Interpol cathes up with South Korean national in Russia on fraud allegations

MOSCOW, January 12 (RAPSI) - South Korean national wanted for alleged fraud involving a fishing vessel have been detained in Vladivostok, Interfax reported on Monday, citing Russia's Interior Ministry, Interfax reported on Monday, citing Russia's Interior Ministry.

The press service of the police reports that the South Korean authorities have charged the detainee with submitting fraudulent documents to a tender in 2008 in order to appropriate a fishing vessel.

The 44-year-old citizen of South Korea has been placed under the pre-extradition detainment. The parties are negotiating the transfer.
