MOSCOW, February 26 (RAPSI) – Russian government has approved a bill extending the list of substances that, if present in a person’s body indicate intoxication, RIA Novosti reported on Friday.

According to current legislation, regulated by the Criminal Code, intoxication is a condition caused by alcohol, drugs and various psychotropic substances.

Authors of the new bill propose to extend the jurisdiction of the Criminal Code’s articles dealing with intoxication unto new psychotropic substances or their analogues as well as new and potentially dangerous psychostimulants.
