MOSCOW, March 23 (RAPSI) – Russian prosecutors detected more than 3.2 million violations of rights and freedoms in 2015, President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday.

“Supervision over constitutional rights and freedoms of people and citizens is still a priority. This is the area that receives 60% of all law violations. In 2015, prosecution services detected 3.2 million violations of rights and freedoms of citizens. Huge numbers,” Putin said during the session at the Prosecutor’s General Office.

Overall prosecutors detected more than 5 million violations of law in the past year.
