MOSCOW, April 14 (RAPSI) – The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has found Russia's post service Pochta Rossii to be guilty of violating anti-competition law by refusing to grant access to mail delivery infrastructure to another communication service provider, the Service’s statement reads on Friday.

The case against Pochta Rossii was launched after it ignored a warning issued by the FAS regarding the application filed by FPS company. The company claimed that Pochta Rossii refused to sign a contract over provision of services related to the transportation and delivery of mail within the territory of the Russian Federation.

According to the deputy head of FAS Anatoly Golomolzin, indiscriminate access to the mail delivery market is a necessary requirement for establishing competition.
