MOSCOW, March 19 (RAPSI) – No significant violations of public order were registered during the recent Presidential elections in Russia, the press-service of the Interior Ministry has reported.

According to the authorities, about 275,000 law enforcement officers were present at the polling stations. It is noted that 81,500 servicemen of the National Guard; 21,000 employees of private security organizations; 46,700 representatives of voluntary people’s patrols, and 7,400 cossacks were also involved in the maintenance of public order and safety.

The Ministry notes that less crimes as usual were reported on the election day.
