MOSCOW, March 26 (RAPSI) – Russian government has submitted a bill to the State Duma granting officials of the Culture Ministry a power to write down notes on administrative violations related to protection of children from information dangerous to their health and development, the database of the lower house of parliament reads.

Other changes proposed by the government are shortening allowed distance between locations of child organizations and locations where distribution of information products prohibited for children is permitted. Decisions on these matters may be taken by local authorities depending on the city density.

The bill also reads that movie trailers shown in cinemas before films for children begin should also use only information that is allowed.
