MOSCOW, April 4 (RAPSI) – The Prosecutor General’s Office has revealed over 46,000 violations of laws on safety of children in schools, the official website of Russia's children's rights commissioner Anna Kuznetsova reads.

According to the press-release published on the website, among all regions Crimea and Sevastopol experience the worst problems when it comes to the availability of safety equipment and employment of qualified personnel responsible for safety in schools. For example, only 1% of schools in Sevastopol employ licensed security.

On Tuesday, Kuznetsova presented a project on organization of events dedicated to prevention of accidents in schools. The events’ goal is improvement of children’s safety in educational and information spheres.
