MOSCOW, May 31 (RAPSI) – Former CEO of Ostrovnoy fish factory Natalya Kashkarova has been sentenced to a 2-year suspended term for unlawful actions during the company’s bankruptcy, the press-service of the Investigative Committee has stated.

Kashkarova was also found guilty of evading payment of taxes and fined 280,000 rubles ($4,500).

The court found that Kashkarova was aware of tax payment debt and the company’s bankruptcy proceedings, yet, acting along with the factory’s single shareholder, she made a deal on alienation of property evaluated at 84 million rubles ($1.3 million). She also hid 113 million rubles ($1.8 million) from forced being recovered by tax authorities, although this sum was enough to pay a 20 million-ruble ($322,500) debt.
