MOSCOW, June 27 (RAPSI) – Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service has fined Traffic Isobar digital agency 200,000 rubles (over $3,000) for inaccurate medicine advertising, the watchdog’s statement reads.

In April 2019, the FAS commission found the advertisement of Anaferon for children placed on Vkontakte social network in December 2018 violating legislation. The ads contained information warning of its medical contraindications and calling to read the instruction before the use of medicine.

However, the warning statement occupied less than 5% of advertising space that was recognized as violation.
