MOSCOW, February 20 (RAPSI) – The State Duma has adopted in the third and final reading a bill on antimonopoly compliance, a system of measures aimed to prevent companies from violation of antimonopoly law.

The bill amends the law on protection of competition by introducing the definition of antimonopoly compliance and putting in place the procedures companies are to follow in their internal matters in order to comply with antimonopoly legislation. The system is to be introduced on voluntary basis, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has noted earlier.

According to the bill, FAS is to examine such procedures and within 30 days provide opinions if they comply with the requirements set by the antimonopoly law.
