MOSCOW, July 8 (RAPSI) – A judge in a town of Nizhnyaya Tura has fined a municipal administration for putting national flag upside down, according to the press-release from the Prosecutor’s Office for the Sverdlovsk Region.

Earlier, local prosecutors examined the situation with legislation on government symbols in Nizhnyaya Tura. On April 24 the flag on the roof of the administration was half-mast on the flagpole which is allowed only during the days of mourning. In addition, the sequence of the flag colors was in reverse.

The administration was fined 100,000 rubles ($1,538).
