MOSCOW, March 2 (RAPSI) – A journalists’ rights protection monitoring centre in February registered at least 13 cases of violation of rights of mass media employees in Russia, the press service of the Presidential Council for Human Rights reports Monday.

According to the centre’s documents, violations were recorded in Yaroslavl, Tomsk, Kirov and Saratov regions, North Ossetia, Yugra, Crimea, Perm Krai, Altai, Chechnya, Moscow.

The monitoring center Protection of Media Rights was founded in March 2019 with the aim to create a system of monitoring of observance of journalists’ rights in Russia’s regions.
