MOSCOW, October 4 - RAPSI, Dmitry Shchitov. A commercial court set for October 31 the preliminary hearings of three lawsuits filed by the Mosenergo power-generating company to recover $204.37 million from Moscow Unified Energy Company (MOEK), the court told the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI).

Mosenergo is the world's largest thermal generation company. Its 15 power plants have an installed electricity capacity of 10,600 MW and a thermal capacity of 39,000 MW, according to the company's website. Gazprom Energoholding is its controlling shareholder.

MOEK was established in 2004 under a Moscow governmental decree. The company provides heating and water to residential and administrative housings, industrial enterprises and Moscow social facilities. The Moscow government holds a 89.25-percent stake in MOEK's charter capital.

The court will hear Mosenergo's lawsuits worth $87.24 million, $60.09 million and $55.5 million.
