MOSCOW, October 5 - RAPSI, Dmitry Shchitov. Vekha-Region auto part retailer filed a bankruptcy application against Kubanenergo, a major energy network company in Krasnodar region, the court reported.

Kubanenergo is a part of IDGC Holding, a Russia's leading electrical power supplier.

The hearing date has yet to be scheduled.

On September 12 the court affirmed the primary court decision to award Vekha-Region 8.65 million rubles ($264,700) in its lawsuit against Kubanenergo.
Meanwhile, Kubanenergo's press office told RIA Novosti on Wednesday that "there are no grounds to declare the company bankrupt."

The company will pay the debt under enforcement proceedings, the press office added.

Kubanenergo is the largest energy network company in Krasnodar region and the Republic of Adygeya. It supplies and distributes power among 110 kv energy networks.
