MOSCOW, October 16 (RAPSI) – The Moscow Commercial Court will consider a lawsuit by Rosneft subsidiary, RN-Aero, against one of the largest and financially troubled airlines – Transaero on November 10, RIA Novosti reported on Friday.

RN-Aero is specializing in supplying fuel for the air travel. It demands 3.4 bln of rubles ($55 mln) from the airline.

Other companies controlled by Rosneft, such as Russian Regional Development Bank filed lawsuits against Transaero estimating 4 bln of rubles ($64 mln). First two lawsuits by the bank against Transaero will be considered on December 1.

Additionally the lawsuits were filed by the largest Russian airline Aeroflot, demanding 5 bln of rubles ($80,6 mln), and other companies affiliated with the largest Russian airports.

Largest private airline in Russia, Transaero, found itself unable to pay its debts estimating 250 bln rubles ($4 bln). Government-approved plan of transferring 75% of company’s shares to Aeroflot failed. Transaero may face bankruptcy from some of the creditors. Its problems result in a large number of flight cancels and delays.
