MOSCOW, December 22 - RAPSI. The Russian authorities will remain consistent and continue their large-scale anti-corruption campaign, President Dmitry Medvedev said at his annual state of the union address on Thursday. He added that over 3,000 public officials were brought to justice in the first half of this year.
"Over 3,000 public officials were held liable as a result of the campaign in first six months of 2011," Medvedev said.
Medvedev called the fight against corruption his top priority when he took office in 2008.
