MOSCOW, May 13 (RAPSI) – Investigators have charged Nadezhda Marshalkina, former deputy minister of economic development, investment policy and external relations of Krasnoyarsk Krai, with bribery taking as well as documents forgery, RIA Novosti reported.

Marshalkina was charged with taking two bribes of 17 million rubles ($257,500) and 55 million rubles ($833,300) as well as two episodes of forgery of Unified State Register of Legal Entities and two episodes of forgery of rulings made by the general meeting of participants of the economic company.

According to the Investigative Committee, during the preliminary investigation it was revealed that Marshalkina organized a hostile takeover of two commercial organizations. One of those organizations earlier was a receiver of one of the governmental contracts and belonged to her acquaintance. The second company owned large sand and gravy quarry.

Allegedly Marshalkina received bribes not only in money, but also in automobiles BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz ML 350.

Investigators claim that Marshalkina denies any wrongdoing and refuses to cooperate with them.
