MOSCOW, August 29 - RAPSI. The Tverskoy District Court will start trial on September 12 in the case of the Nevsky Express train explosion, Dmitry Romanov, the head of the courts press service, told RIA Novosti on Monday.
Preliminary hearings in the case were held on Monday.
High speed train No. 166 derailed between Novgorod and Tver Regions while on route from Moscow to St. Petersburg on November 28, 2009. The accident was caused by a bomb explosion. The terrorist act claimed the lives of 28 people. More than 90 were injured.
