MOSCOW, September 6 - RAPSI, Dmitry Shchitov. The Moscow Commercial Court has registered a statement filed by the Central Bank of Russia on recognizing Commercial Bank Evrosoyuz as bankrupt, the court told the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI).

The hearing date has not been scheduled yet.

The Central Bank decided to revoke Evrosoyuzs banking license on August 26 for false reporting and its inability to fulfill the creditors requirements.

The bank does not participate in the deposit insurance system.

Despite holding one of the lowest positions in the rating, Evrosoyuz has been on the Moscow banking market since 2002. It was controlled by a group of private entrepreneurs.
