SAINT-PETERSBURG, September 6 - RAPSI. The St. Petersburg Commercial Court will hear on October 3 an appeal filed by the Sanesta-Metal trade house on recognizing Baltiysky Zavod as bankrupt.
The corresponding resolution was published on September 4. The appeal was filed with the court on August 29.
Sanesta-Metal was ordered to provide the court with information on Baltiysky Zavods bankruptcy, including the penalty, by September 29. The trade house has already been in litigation with Baltiysky Zavod this year. It sought to recover the debt for product supplies worth 16.2 million rubles (approximately $549,340).
Sanesta-Metal started working in March 1992. It supplies steel pipes produced at 19 enterprises in Russia and the CIS.
Baltiysky Zavod is a part of the United Industrial Corporation owned by Senator Sergei Pugachyov. The factory mostly builds icebreakers and military vessels. It manufactures a wide range of engineering products and energy equipment and supplies nonferrous and core-mold castings.
