MOSCOW, September 7 - RAPSI, Dmitry Shchitov. The Ninth Commercial Court of Appeals has upheld a lower court decision to award Mezhprombank 1.8 billion rubles ($60.8 million) in its suit against Nautilus and Kentavr, the court told the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI).
Mezhprombanks license was revoked on October 5, 2010, and it was declared bankrupt in late November.
A Moscow court on June 20 awarded Mezhprombank 957.9 million rubles ($32.3 million) from Nautilus and 877.1 million rubles ($29.6 million) from Kentavr. The court also dismissed the counterclaims filed by the debtors for the invalidation of the loan agreements. The companies appealed the judgment.
