MOSCOW, September 16 - RAPSI, Dmitry Shchitov. A commercial court registered a $10.93 million suit filed by Lebedinsky Mining and Processing Works, a subsidiary of a leading global iron producer, against major insurer AlfaStrakhovanie, the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI) reported on Friday.
Lebedinsky Mining and Processing Works (LGOK), a major Russian iron producer, is a subsidiary of Metalloinvest, one of the world's top-five global iron ore and hot briquetted iron (HBI) producers. Metalloinvest manages assets of the Russian mining and smelting industry.
AlfaStrakhovanie is part of Alfa Group, and offers more than 100 types of insurance services, including life insurance. It has more than 390 offices all over Russia.
A hearing date has not yet been set, nor have the parties commented to RAPSI thus far.
