MOSCOW, October 5 - RAPSI, Dmitry Shchitov. The court held for the five lawsuits filed by the transport prosecutor's office against Avianova airline, the court told the Russian Legal Information Agency on Tuesday.
The claimant sought to open an administrative case against Avianova and fine it for flight delays.
The Moscow interregional transport prosecutor's office claimed that Avianova delayed its flights from Moscow Sheremetyevo airport as it failed to reserve aircraft to transfer passengers. The lawsuits submitted by the claimant point to the 14 flight delays for more than two hours discovered by the prosecutor's office.
The prosecutor's office concluded that Avianova violated an aircraft reservation law.
The claimant also said that the airline did not deny the flight delays discovered by the prosecutor's office.
The Moscow Commercial Court decided to fine the airline roughly $5,000.
