MOSCOW, October 11 - RAPSI, Sergei Feklyunin. A commercial court will hear on November 17 a lawsuit filed by Ikea Mos (Retail & Property), which owns and manages the Mega shopping centers, to invalidate the tax service's claims, the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI) reported from the court.
IKEA is the world's largest retail network of shops selling furniture and household items. It operates 11 IKEA shops and 13 Mega trade centers in Russia.
It was earlier reported that the tax claims amount to about 500 million rubles ($15.81million).
IKEA has objected to the tax service's inclusion of activities to complete the trade centers in the company's non-operational income.
The court started reconsidering the case after the cassation court remanded it for review.
Judge Vitaly Zubarev proposed that the parties prepare written reviews for the primary hearing, taking into account the Moscow District Federal Commercial Court's resolutions.
