MOSCOW, October 31 - RAPSI. The court has registered a bankruptcy application against the Stroygazconsulting, Russia's leading construction and engineering holding company, the court told the Russian Leading Information Agency (RAPSI).
Stroygazconsulting's companies are engaged in the construction and overhaul of oil and gas field surface facilities, pipelines and roads. Its major customers are Gazprom, Transneft, LUKOIL, Nord Stream AG and the Transport Ministry's Federal Highway Agency.
The Moscow Commercial Court registered the application filed by Tarkus on October 26. The hearing date has yet to be scheduled.
According to the case documents, the Moscow Commercial Court's September 1 decision has come into force under which Stroygazconsulting was ordered to pay Tarkus 7.82 million rubles ($261,700) for gas pipeline coating and pipe replacement. Stroygazconsulting appealed the judgment in the cassation court of appeals.
Stroygazconsulting's representative declined to comment, adding that the company will wait for the court's ruling.
RAPSI has yet to reach Tarkus for comment.
