MOSCOW, November 3 - RAPSI, Alyona Yegorova. A court has postponed until December 1 its hearing of a trademark infringement lawsuit filed by the Swiss Tissot AG watch manufacturer against Holmrook Limited, the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI) reported from the courtroom on Thursday.
Tissot AG sought a court order to prohibit Holmrook Limited from further using "tissot" in its "tissot.ru" domain name, as well as to declare that the unauthorized use amounts to trademark infringement.
The company also requested the court to order the Regional Network Information Center, a co-defendant in the case, to revoke the "tissot.ru" domain name registration.
The court involved on Thursday Nikolai Mikhailyukov to act as the third party in the case. Mikhailyukov requested the court to allow him to take part in the case following the Moscow district court's August 23, 2011 decision. The Zyuzinsky District Court of Moscow granted him the right to register the "tissot.ru" domain name.
The Moscow Commercial Court earlier prohibited Holmrook from transferring the domain rights to third parties until the case is completed.
