MOSCOW, November 8 - RAPSI, Dmitry Shchitov. The court will hear on January 16 the antimonopoly service's lawsuit against the Russian Railways, the court told the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI).
The antimonopoly watchdog seeks to cancel a tender held by the railways monopoly to insure its car fleet.
The Federal Antimonopoly Service found that Russian Railways broke competition law in January when it helped certain insurers to bid for compulsory TPL motor vehicle and hull insurance contracts on Russian Railway's car fleet for 2009-2012.
The trial was suspended on June 1. Russian Railways' lawyer said earlier that the company challenged the antimonopoly service's decision in the Moscow Commercial Court and requested to suspend the case until the court passes its judgment on Russian Railways' lawsuit.
The appeals court overruled the antimonopoly service's decision on October 31, allowing the court to resume its hearing of the case.
The court earlier postponed the hearing of another lawsuit filed by the antimonopoly watchdog, in which it claimed to cancel a second tender held by the Russian Railways.
Russian Railways and the ZHASO insurance company, which won the tender, are the co-defendants in the case.
The VSK and Ingosstrakh insurers are third parties in case as they complained about violations during the tender.
