MOSCOW, November 11 - RAPSI, Natalya Belova. A commercial court put off until November 30 its hearing of the watchdog's appeal against the court decision to remove its prohibition to ScanEx on taking photographs of the Earth with better spatial resolution than two meters, the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI) reported on Friday.
Scanex is Russia's leader in satellite data acquisition, processing and distribution.
The Commercial Court of Appeals satisfied ScanEx's claims and obligated the Federal Space Agency to remove from the company's license the ban on taking higher resolution pictures. The court overruled the Moscow Commercial Court's decision to dismiss the company's lawsuit in May. However the agency appealed the appellate court's decision.
