MOSCOW, November 25 - RAPSI. The Supreme Commercial Court has registered an appeal to reconsider court judgments on the Federal Grid Company's breach of competition law, the court told the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI).
The Federal Tariff Service applied for reconsideration under a supervisory procedure.
The Moscow District Federal Commercial Court upheld on August 25 the antimonopoly watchdog's resolution that the United Energy System's Federal Grid Company violated competition law by foisting unfavorable contractual terms on Tymenenergo in August 2010.
The Federal Grid Company was set up in 2002 as part of power engineering reforms. Under the new concept, its mission is to control trunk power transmission lines.
