MOSCOW, December 13 - RAPSI. A court has registered a petition filed by businessman Sergey Poymanov for the bankruptcy of his Pavlovskgranit group, a largest fieldstone manufacturer in Russia, the court told the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI/rapsinews.com).
The Moscow Region Commercial Court has yet to set the hearing date. According to the court documents, Pavlovskgranit's debt amounts to 3.478 billion rubles ($110.7 million).
The Moscow Commercial Court commenced in November a supervision procedure in Pavlovskgranit-Invest and Vitera, Pavlovskgranit's subsidiaries. The procedure was initiated at the request of Sberbank Capital whose 3.495 billion ruble ($111.2 million) claims to each debtor were included into the junior lenders list.
The court will hear the bankruptcy case on its merits on March 14, 2012.
Sberbank Capital's representative said that the claims are based on the Voronezh Regional Commercial Court's judgment, which ordered in June 2011 to recover 4.641 billion rubles ($147.7 million) from Pavlovskgranit subsidiaries, including Pavlovskgranit-Invest and Vitera.
Sberbank Capital applied for the debtors' bankruptcy after the court decision came into force in September.
The Federal Antimonopoly Service permitted Sberbank Capital to acquire a 99-percent stake in Pavlovskgranit on July 22.
